Mushroom Foraging



I found some great Chicken of the Woods mushrooms 2 weeks ago in Webster Park.  They are a striking orange color, meaty & have a slight lemon flavor.  Great to use in almost any dish you would use ordinary mushrooms but the flavor is very unique.  They can also be dried or frozen for future use.  Check our the Cornell blog for more information & recipes.  Going on another forage soon...we'll see what I can score.
